Bet You Can't · updated 14 October 2026
Bet You Can't is a car football game for Android, made by Mohit Pal. This page says what the game keeps about you, why, and how to get rid of it. Questions: mohitpal2621@gmail.com.
In short
- No ads, no analytics, no trackers. Nothing about you is sold or shared for advertising.
- To play online, the game makes you a guest account. No email, phone number or password: just a nickname.
- The game's server keeps your nickname, your progress and the looks you bought, so they're the same whenever you play.
- You can delete all of it whenever you like: in the game, SETTINGS → DELETE MY DATA.
What the game's server keeps
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your nickname (the one you pick, or a "Player 1234" one) | Other players see it in matches, rooms and on the leaderboard. |
| An account ID, and a secret sign-in key that only your phone has (the server keeps only a one-way hash of it) | So your phone can sign in to your account. |
| Your progress: matches, wins and goals, XP and level, ranks and ratings, daily dares and streaks | Levels and rewards, ranked matchmaking, the leaderboard and your profile. |
| The matches you play: when, the teams, the score, who scored | Your match history. The players you played with see your nickname in theirs. |
| Your car's looks | So everyone sees your car the way you set it up. |
| Your phone's time zone (how far it is from UTC, like +5:30) | So the daily dares change at your midnight. |
| Your purchases: which looks, and Google Play's order number and purchase token | To check with Google Play that a purchase is paid for, and to give you those looks on any phone. |
| When your account was made and last used | To delete accounts nobody uses any more. |
What it doesn't collect
Your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, location (other than the time zone above), photos, microphone, advertising ID or device identifiers. Card and other payment details go to Google Play only: the game never sees them.
What stays on your phone
Your settings (controls, sound, graphics) and the goal clips the game records stay on your phone. A clip only leaves it when you share it yourself (to WhatsApp, say) or save it to your gallery.
Your connection
Like any server, the game's server sees your phone's internet (IP) address while it's connected. It's used in memory to keep the server safe (to turn away anyone sending far too many requests) and isn't kept with your account. When an address is turned away, the server's log notes it shortened (like 203.0.113.x).
Who else is involved
- Google Play installs and updates the game and handles purchases and payments, under Google's privacy policy. The game's server asks Google whether each purchase is paid for, using its purchase token. If you let your phone share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google Play may also show me anonymous crash and performance statistics.
- Oracle Cloud provides the computer the game's server and its database run on, in a data centre in India.
- Nobody else. There are no ad networks, analytics, crash reporters or data brokers.
How long it's kept
- Your account stays while you play. An account that isn't used for 12 months is deleted, with everything in it.
- When an account is deleted (by you, by email, or for not being used), it's removed from the game's database straight away. Backups that still contain it are deleted within 30 days.
- Matches you played stay in the other players' histories, with your nickname replaced by "Deleted player".
Your choices
- Change your nickname any time: SETTINGS → Your name.
- Delete everything: SETTINGS → DELETE MY DATA. The looks you bought aren't lost: Google Play keeps your purchases, and the game gives them back when you open the garage again (signed in to the same Google account).
- Without the game: see how to delete your account.
- To get a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or ask anything about it, email mohitpal2621@gmail.com. You'll get an answer within 30 days. These rights are yours wherever you live.
- If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
Children
The game isn't made for children under 13 and doesn't knowingly keep data about them. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email mohitpal2621@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
Keeping it safe
The game talks to its server over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebSockets). The database can't be reached from the internet, only by the game's server next to it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date. Big changes will also be in the game's update notes.
